Objectives

The adaptation and renovation of university teaching techniques have become a focus on which all universities must act.

The world has not stopped changing, and with it the technologies and the way students learn and study. That is why educational techniques must change to adapt them to the current needs of students, to facilitate and improve their learning experience.

The Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) has chosen as a central line of action, the promotion and subsequent recognition of "Educational Innovation Groups" (GIE), which is an original bet in the current university landscape.

Through this initiative, it is intended that the efforts in means and resources with which the UPM promotes Educational Innovation will result in continuous work, will be carried out in groups and by stable teams and the performance of the teachers involved will have a greater recognition, and these are the objectives pursued by this group, "EXGEOMET".
